Principal Judi McVea taking a yoga class

The Principal – Judi McVea

Judi began practising yoga in 1970 and has been teaching up to 25 classes per week for over 40 years. Judi is trained in Sivananda, Satyananda, and Gita styles of Hatha Yoga, and has inspired many of her students to become yoga teachers. A significant number of her original students still attend regular classes, and Judi is renowned for her attention to detail. Classes with Judi have limited sizes to enable personal attention and encourage development.

Judi’s reputation draws students from all over Melbourne and the studio has a quality all its own. Not withstanding her many years of teaching, Judi’s passion and enthusiasm remains unabated and often inspires a similar devotion amongst her students.  As an added feature, Judi is able to play the crystal bowls which brings about a sense of inner peace when played during practise.
